Step 1 - Pre Soaking
Using enclosed jar, add 1 fizzy tablet and water to jar's fill line. Do not put fizzy tablet in Jewel Jet! Soak jewelry until fizzing stops. Note: After a thorough first time cleaning, pre-soaking should not be necessary. Frequent Jewel Jet steam cleaning will keep your jewelry bright and shiny. Additional fizzy tablets may be purchased from your local Jewel Jet retailer or online at jeweljet.com |

Step 2 - Set Up
Unscrew cap on top. Using enclosed measuring cup, pour in maximum 8 ounces of water. Do not overfill as this will cause water to spit from nozzle. Plug in and wait about 3 minutes for red light to go off. Position nozzle over edge of counter or sink to avoid water puddle. Make sure mesh basket is in place and sink drain is plugged. Jewelry can easily be dropped. |

Step 3 - Steam Cleaning
Always use tweezers attached to back of Jewel Jet to hold your jewelry. Do not hold jewelry with bare fingers while cleaning. While firmly holding jewelry in tweezers, press button on top using short bursts. Thoroughly clean underside, sides, and top. When steam pressure falls, the heating element automatically turns back on (indicated by red light) and steam rebuilds. You may continue cleaning, but for maximum steam pressure, wait for light to go off. |

Step 4 - When Finished
Unplug and allow remaining water in Jewel Jet to cool (30 minutes). Jewel Jet will remain on if not unplugged. Slowly unscrew cap. If steam escapes from cap, allow additional time for water to cool. After removing cap, turn upside down and dump remaining water in sink. Never store with water left in tank. See complete manual for additional information. Note: Do not steam clean jewelry set with porous stones such as opals, emeralds, turquoise, and pearls. If in doubt, ask your local jeweler.
